Duty/Responsibility

Contributes to planning and implementing the training, conditioning and coaching programs for the volleyball team. Assists head coach in conducting team practices, training, conditioning, and competitions. Prepares scouting reports and game plans for opponents. Teaches volleyball skills to student-athletes. Demonstrates a sincere interest in the academic, personal, and physical welfare of each student-athlete; counsels team members and consult with the head coach and appropriate College staff as necessary for the resolution of issues

Duty/Responsibility

Assists head coach in developing and implementing an overall recruiting plan, including, but not limited to: identifying qualified students and talented athletes; communicating with prospects by phone, mail, e-mail; traveling to evaluate prospects, meet parents and high school coaches; organizing and participating in visits to campus by prospects, and maintaining appropriate recruiting records as required by the NCAA. Maintains knowledge of the University programs and opportunities to effectively inform prospects.

Duty/Responsibility

Knows and complies with the rules and regulations of the NCAA and America East, and works to stay abreast of rule changes, applications and interpretations; actively seeks to ensure that athletes and athletics representatives are informed of and comply with NCAA and America East rules. Assists the head coach in planning and administering the budget for the volleyball program, which includes assessing needs for equipment, team travel, recruiting, etc. Plans and reconciles recruiting travel expenses. Assists head coach in planning and developing competitive schedule. Assists head coach in coordinating team travel. Assists the head coach in keeping alumni, parents and supporters informed of the programs status through newsletters, brochures, talks, etc.

Duty/Responsibility

Assists head coach in promoting UNH and the volleyball program through camps, clinics, and community involvement. Develops and maintains positive relationships with a wide range of constituents, including students, parents, faculty, department and University Staff, alumni, fans, community members, the media, etc. Represents UNH, the athletic department, and the volleyball program in an exemplary fashion. Strong knowledge of volleyball skills and strategies. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in a diverse community. 
Strong organizational skills. Must possess valid drivers license for off-campus recruiting efforts.
