Position Summary:

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) instructor. This adjunct faculty position involves providing direct instruction in classroom, lab, clinical/fieldwork, or distance education settings on a semester contract basis. The primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality education to students. Adjunct instructors receive contracts for a single term, with renewal contingent upon future hiring needs. The OTA adjunct faculty will work under the management and supervision of the Program Chair/Director.

Required Education/Experience:

Graduate of an OT or OTA program that is accredited by a USDE-recognized regional or national accrediting body.
Associates degree (OTA); Bachelors or Masters degree (OT).
Experience with occupational therapy assistants
Currently licensed as an OT or OTA by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy, and in good standing
Documented expertise in clinical practice area(s)
