ANTICIPATED SALARY RANGE:  $38,985 Min - $55,559 Mid - $72,134 Max
HOURS:  40 hours per week
CAMPUS: Thomas E. Barton Campus
 

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

ENROLLMENT: Identify prospects and applicants and track their progression through the enrollment funnel to meet established college enrollment goals by completing the following duties: conduct on on-going call to action phone calls/emails/text messaging to assigned student groups, evaluate and process  online applications, receive and process relevant admissions documents, interpret placement, evaluate high school and college transcripts for admission decision, verify residency, provide program of study overview, communicate admissions requirement and advise students on basic financial aid information. Provide outreach to assigned high schools and be the liaison for GTC recruiting.

STUDENT REGISTRATION: Assist students with completing the Online Orientation module and ensure students register and attend the appropriate PASS session for new student registration; work collaboratively with division academic advisors to ensure accuracy of program information and requirements. Advise and register special student populations such as transients, career development, foreign evaluations, and Early College Students. Collect and process documentation to ensure timely registration.

STUDENT ADVISING & SUPPORT: Review and evaluate official college transcripts for transfer equivalent courses for the purpose of placement, complete program changes, SS# corrections, status changes; attend trainings as needed to stay abreast of college updates regarding policies and procedures. Assist students and their influencers by providing appropriate referrals to available student services such as TRIO, Veterans, Disability Services, Career and Counseling Services and Campus Housing information/process.

SPECIALTY (RECRUITING): Develops, designs, and implements day, evening and weekend recruiting activities for various applicant pools. Plans and participates in special events on and off campus. Maintains a general working knowledge of academic programs, program requirements, admissions and college processes. Develops and maintains relationships with area high schools, middle schools, private schools and home school associations. Submits routine accountability reports. Assists with special programs and campus tours. Plans and delivers presentations to prospective students, parents, counselors, community leaders, etc. Conducts follow-up communication with prospective applicants through phone, email, chat, walk-ins, tours and recruitment events. Works closely with Enrollment Services, Marketing and Academic Schools to gather feedback on creative ways to communicate and market to all prospective students.

Participates in assigned college/divisional events, projects and reporting with regard to student services, recruiting, and projected enrollment goals. Other duties as assigned by the VP of Student Services and the Dean of Compliance and Community Outreach.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree and experience in student services programs.
