General Summary

Specific Position Duties

• Assist in the development and implementation of effective recruitment strategies to attract prospective students to Odessa College.
• Represent Odessa College at college fairs, high school visits, career expos, and other recruitment events.
• Conduct informational sessions and presentations to provide detailed information about academic programs, admission requirements, scholarships, and campus life.
• Build and maintain relationships with high school guidance counselors, community organizations, and educational partners to enhance recruitment efforts.
• Coordinate campus tours and visit programs for prospective students and their families.
• Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of recruitment activities, prospective student interactions, and enrollment data.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop recruitment materials, including brochures, website content, and social media campaigns.
• Assist with the planning and execution of recruitment events and orientations.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire prospective students.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of college admission processes, financial aid options, and educational trends.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
