Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee a variety of building
alterations, renovations, and new construction throughout the entire facility for
Rose Hill and Lincoln Center in addition to providing guidance and training to
Assistant Project Managers.
Essential Functions
∙Sets up initial project schedules and cost estimates in Procore
∙Prepares initial team based “Portfolio” Procore webpage for the weekly
senior project review meeting
∙Writes and issues design and construction RFPs in conjunction with
appropriate project team members
∙Formally requests quotes through Procore linked to a project and a fund
account
∙Prepares commitments for execution confirming master agreement and
funding status
∙Assumes overall management of projects from inception to final turn-over
to end-user and operations.
∙Requires presence on the Rose Hill and Lincoln Center campus for the
following:
oMeets and discusses with CPP colleagues any project
administration process improvements in all phases of development
oAttends on-campus project team meetings as appropriate to
establish, execute and monitor any given projects acquisition plan.

Management Responsibilities
Guides work of other employees who perform essentially the same work and/or
student workers. Organizes, sets priorities, schedules and reviews work, but is
generally not responsible for final decisions in hiring, performance management
or compensation.
Additional Functions
∙Bidding
oExtensive experience in construction bidding process
oDeveloping bid forms based on construction documents, logistics,
etc.
oAnalysis of contractor bids and generation of leveling sheets to
ensure complete proposals encompassing appropriate scope have
been received.
∙DOB/DEP/Con-Ed: General knowledge of agency processes including
permitting, inspections, signoffs, TCO, CofO, etc.
∙Construction Scheduling:
oAnalysis of initial construction schedule to ensure completion within
University timeline
oContinuous reviews of contractor construction schedules to monitor
progress
oUnderstanding of lead times and impacts to project schedules
∙Construction Financials: SOV, Anticipated Cost Reports, etc.
∙Pre-Construction
oReview of milestone drawings for inclusion of appropriate scope,
University requirements and standards, adherence to project
budget limits, etc.
oCoordination with Operations for maintenance feasibility, integration
with existing equipment, utility shut-offs, etc.
oOverview of filing process to ensure drawing development coincides
with project schedule in terms of construction start, material lead
times, etc.
oObtain feedback and clear scope definitions from end-users
∙Change Orders: Review of change orders for scope accuracy and
reasonable/fair pricing
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
∙Bachelors Degree in engineering or architecture.
∙5 to 10 years of experience in project management of both interior and
ground-up construction.
Required Qualifications: Knowledge and Skills
∙Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Procore
∙Strong communication and organizational skills.
∙Good sense of office decorum and workflows.
∙Creative problem-solver.
∙Successful candidates should have a knowledge of and commitment to
the goals of Jesuit Education.
Minimum Starting Salary: $125,000
Maximum Starting Salary: $135,000
Note: Salary is commensurate with qualifications, experience, and skills.
