Xavier University, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, is accepting applications for an Adjunct Instructors in Business Analytics and Information Systems on a rolling basis. This role presents a unique opportunity for Ph.D. students and professionals to gain valuable teaching experience, or to give back to the Xavier community by sharing their expertise. This role offers a salary of $2,025 for a 3-credit hour course. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester basis.

Candidates must be dedicated to graduate or undergraduate teaching and demonstrate excellence in their field. The successful candidate will contribute to our commitment to excellence in teaching and student engagement.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants should have a masters degree directly related to the course subject area or a masters degree with at least 18 credit hours in the subject area with recent related work experience. Courses are offered at the undergraduate and masters levels in the areas of business analytics, information systems and supply chain / operations management.

Duties include:

• Effective, engaged learner-centered instruction in an inclusive classroom environment
• Effective planning and preparation of classes to support student success
• Administration of appropriate course assessments designed adequately to measure students learning
• Use of Xaviers campus-wide Content Management System, Canvas, to provide course information and maintain an electronic record of student progress
• Working cooperatively with members of the department
