This is a full-time position based out of our Corporate Offices in La Jolla. Hours at 6am - 2:30pm.

Must be willing to travel to all Scripps Sites from Encinitas to Chula Vista. Monday- Friday varied shift availability required.

The Groundkeeper position performs semi-skilled grounds maintenance duties, utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills under the guidance and support of a supervisor. This position performs maintenance activities to include mowing, turf maintenance, planting, fertilizing and trimming trees and other vegetation. Picks up litter and trash; repairs sprinkler and irrigation systems and other ground maintenance duties as assigned. Displays and practices a work style that reflects the mission, philosophy, and goals of the organization. Demonstrates ability to perform competencies as outlined in FSS Competency Assessment tools. Demonstrates age-specific care as established for area and job title.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

California Driver's license required.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

At least 5 years Grounds maintenance and operations experience preferred.

Minimum Rate (USD): 24.00 - Maximum Rate (USD): 28.28
